GLASS WORKS
Series Introduction
What is usually applied last, has to be done first.
Painting under glass is actually a very old method, started in ancient Egypt. During the Middle Ages in Europe, people made copies from paintings to glass using a print copy from the painting. I paint and print on the reverse side of the glass. When the paint is directly applied to the glass it intensifies the effect of the colour. The technique of reverse glass painting is different from ordinary painting: what is usually applied last, has to be done first.
